‘Wakes’ – A book of Irish Tradition and History

‘WAKES’ by William Doherty. This wonderfully nostalgic book tells the stories of wake traditions in Ireland’s history and peoples personal experiences of them. A really fascinating read with stunning photographic illustrations. A wonderful book for anyone interested in Irish tradition and history.
