I am a Originally from Zambia now Irish by naturalization. My collection is usually has some African influence and mixing with werstern influence too. I remember back then in Africa I was doing needle work and my teacher took my garment and showed it around to other students as an example how it should be done. Those days it was back stock by hand. The work of creativity I probably draw it from my father who was an upholster. It was 10 years in Ireland that I went on a first date with my boyfriend now my husband who was mesmerized by what I was wearing. When I told him I made the garment he was so surprised and thought I had hidden talent and ask what machine I needed I said “overlocker” he bought me one as a present rest is history.
