Meet the Milliner: Tamaryn
Our latest addition to The Design House family is Tamaryn Millinery, a Dublin based artist currently studying for her City & Guilds qualification in millinery. Tamaryn has undertaken numerous millinery workshops, including a course with the iconic Rose Cory, milliner to the late Queen’s mother. From Cory she learned how to use traditional millinery methods to create unique and high quality designs.
Tamaryn has always loved wearing hats which is what made her decide to start making her own. Soon enough, designing them became her passion! She has designed headpieces for TV’s Katherine Lynch and Irish singer Graham J, as well as fashioning unique custom designs for various stage shows and photoshoots.
Along with millinery, Tamaryn also makes wrist adornments and other accessories. She loves using upcycled materials in her designs, and also enjoys making musical instruments into lamps!
Tamaryn is available for bespoke designs, simply contact The Design House to make an appointment.
